Annual Contractor Conference Promotes Energy Efficiency
The annual Momentum is Building Conference sponsored by Iowa’s electric cooperatives will be held February 8-9, 2024, at the Meadows Event Center in Altoona, IA. Nishnabotna Valley REC often sponsors six area home-builders, electricians, heating-plumbing contractors, educators, and real estate professionals to the event.

A major draw for electricians, plumbers and HVAC professionals was the opportunity to earn CEU credits at the conference. M.I.B. attendees can also network with industry professionals, hear from recognized industry energy efficiency and building trades experts, and gain insight on trending technologies.

If you are interested in M.I.B., Nishnabotna Valley REC can sponsor one employee or contractor per business within the Nishnabotna Valley REC service territory. NVREC sponsored participants are responsible for a $65 co-pay and fees associated with continuing education.
